The APD applied for Scholarship monies four our 2006 Sauerkraut Day Queen, through the Krause-Gentle Foundation of W. Des Moines, Iowa.  Viridiana DeLeon, our 2006 Sauerkraut Days Queen and 06 AGWSR graduate, received $150 from that foundation, for her church activities, academics, athletics, her amount of volunteer work and combining that all with being "a working girl" made her eligible for this endowment.  Shown is Ackley Kum & Go Manager, Bonnie Wiederkehr, awarding the check to queen Viri DeLeon.
