We are a community organization made up of concerned business and professional people, who volunteer their time to make Ackley a better place to live, work and do business.  Our goal is to provide the leadership to promote our Ackley community as wall as promote and support our member businesses.  We are a positive organization that continually works to develop the Chamber's membership and financial stability in an effort to better serve our members and the community's best interest.

Members will benefit from the networking opportunities, enhanced exposure, and the many exciting community activities we promote to contribute to the quality of life in our rural community.  The membership banquet, the Farmer's Market, the City-Wide Garage Sale, Motor Ioway, the Christmas Drawings, the Fireworks Display and our annual Sauerkraut Days are just a few of the activities sponsored by the Chamber during 2004.  The Ackley Chamber of Commerce works to be the primary advocate of the Ackley area business community while recognizing a responsibility to sustain the area as a desirable place to live and work.

The Ackley Chamber of Commerce is a progressive organization that is constantly looking for new ways to promote Ackley's businesses and remain active in the community.  Every member plays a vital part in the unified efforts to keep our community alive and prospering.  We would like you to be a part of our TEAM!   Memberships are $100 per business, which figures out to be  only $8.34 a month or 27 cents a day and includes 2 free meals to the membership banquet.  If you are interested in sharing your ideas and making Ackley the best  that it can be, contact one of these Chamber Directors.
