SPECIAL MEETING

July 15, 2026

ACKLEY CITY COUNCIL met in special session July 15, 2026 in the Ackley Council Chambers with Mayor Michael Abbas presiding.  The meeting was called to order at 3:05 pm.  Council members present: Mike Wessels, Roderick Neely, Maliah Roelfs (Roelfs in attendance via electronic due to prior obligations). Absent: Dan Scallon and Steven Ackerman. Quorum present.

Neely moved, Wessels seconded, to approve the July 15, 2026 Agenda, as listed.  Ayes-all.  Motion carried.

Neely moved, Wessels seconded to pass Resolution 26-34 Hiring Evan Harrison as a Seasonal Public Works Employee. Roll call vote: Ayes-Neely, Roelfs, Wessels. Absent-Scallon, Ackerman Motion carried.

Neely moved, Wessels seconded, to adjourn at 3:06 pm.  Ayes-all. Motion carried.
