SPECIAL MEETING
March 23, 2026
ACKLEY CITY COUNCIL met in a special joint meeting March 23, 2026 at 6:15 pm. in the AGWSR District Office Board Room with the AGWSR Community School Board. Mayor Michael Nuss and Council Members Dan Scallon, Mike Wessels, and Maliah Roelfs were present. Steven Ackerman and Mike Abbas were absent. Quorum present.
The Cougar’s Den Annual Financial Review was presented. Revenue of $207,687.66 and expenses of $346,857.80 were reported for FY25. FY25 yearend balance is $174,716.46. Clerk Dennis inquired as to where the annual $8,000 payment from the City of Ackley was listed in the revenues. Funds listed in the daycare tuition line. No further discussion nor action taken by council members in attendance. City of Ackley representatives left meeting at 7:24 pm.
