SPECIAL MEETING
May 19, 2025
ACKLEY CITY COUNCIL met in special session May 19, 2025 in the Ackley Council Chambers with Mayor Pro Tem Judy Crawford presiding. The meeting was called to order at 4:00 pm. Council members present: Maliah Roelfs, Mike Abbas, Judy Crawford. Absent: Dan Scallon and Chuy Flores. Quorum present. Roelfs in attendance via electronic device.
Abbas moved, Roelfs seconded, to approve the May 19, 2025 Agenda, as listed. Ayes-all. Motion carried.
Roelfs moved, Abbas seconded to approve beer/liquor license pending dram shop insurance for Ackley Chamber of Commerce/Sauerkraut Days. Ayes-all. Motion carried.
Abbas moved, Roelfs seconded to approve beer/liquor license for Top of Iowa Lucky Wife, LLC/Ackley Car Show. Ayes-all. Motion carried.
Abbas moved, Roelfs seconded, to adjourn at 4:02 pm. Ayes-all. Motion carried.
