SPECIAL MEETING

April 19, 2023

ACKLEY CITY COUNCIL met in special session April 19, 2023 in the Ackley Council Chambers with Mayor Michael Nuss presiding. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm. Council members present: Dan Scallon, Chuy Flores, Joe Wessels, Mike Abbas, and Judy Crawford. Quorum present.

Crawford moved, Scallon seconded, to approve the April 19, 2023 Agenda as listed. Ayes-All. Motion carried.

Abbas moved, Scallon seconded, to go into closed session at 7:02 pm. under Iowa Code Section 21.5(1)(a), Economic Development Matter. Ayes-Flores, Wessels, Abbas, Crawford, and Scallon. Motion carried.

Council returned to open session at 8:00 pm.

No action was taken regarding closed session discussion.

Wessels moved, Scallon seconded, to adjourn at 8:01 pm. Ayes-All. Motion carried.
