SPECIAL MEETING

July 27, 2022

ACKLEY CITY COUNCIL met in special session July 27, 2022 in the Ackley Council Chambers with Mayor Michael Nuss presiding. The meeting was called to order at 4:00 pm. Council members present: Judy Crawford, Chuy Flores, Joe Wessels, and Mike Abbas. Absent: Dan Scallon. Quorum present.

Crawford moved, Flores seconded to approve the July 27, 2022 Agenda as listed. Ayes-all. Motion carried.

Abbas moved, Flores seconded to set the public hearing date on the plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimate of costs for 605 Main St Facade Grant to August 22, 2022 at 4pm in the Ackley Council Chambers. Ayes-all. Motion carried.

Wessels moved, Abbas seconded to pass Resolution 22-36 Authorizing Issuance of Library Reserve/Trust Funds to Ackley Community Foundation/Ackley Public Library Endowment Fund. Roll call vote: Ayes-Flores, Wessels, Abbas, Crawford. Absent: Scallon. Motion carried.

Wessels moved, Crawford seconded to adjourn at 4:06 pm. Ayes-all. Motion carried.
